Reimagining Conservation 2024
Reimagining Conservation 2024 | 19—22 August 2024 | Djabugay Country
Reimagining Conservation 2024 is the second iteration of Reimagining Conservation Forum – Working Together for Healthy Country, which was held in Meanjin / Brisbane on Yuggerah and Turrbal Country in 2022.
Bringing together Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples to talk about how we can reimagine managing land and sea Country together, Reimagining Conservation 2024, held at Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, provides delegates with an opportunity to be part of the vital conversation around Indigenous-directed actions and outcomes in the conservation sector.
Indigenous delegates are invited to join us from Monday 19 August for an Indigenous only workshop, providing a space for open and safe discussion about aspirations, common themes and challenges within the conservation sector. This session will help to ensure that Indigenous voices and perspectives are amplified throughout the remainder of the forum from 20—22 August which is open to all delegates.
