Garngi Community Rangers

The Garngi Community Rangers of Croker Island in northeast Arnhem Land have been an established ranger group since 1998.

Their management area includes a range of natural resource management activities: protection of threatened species; control of significant feral animals and invasive species; fire management; marine debris, and cultural management and recording of traditional knowledge for future generations.
