I-Tracker Training and Support

Training is an essential part of the I-Tracker project and complements the on-going technical support provided to Saltwater People Network participants by NAILSMA.

Training is delivered in structured formats - often as a workshop for a group of Indigenous rangers and ranger coordinators - and through practical on-the-job learning sessions, often conducted on-country.

In the first year of the Saltwater People Network, structured and informal workshops were conducted across the north, from the Kimberley to Cape York, and more training opportunities are planned for rangers in the future.
